Forest and Wood Museum

The Forest and Wood Museum is dedicated to zoology and hunting. The exposition is divided into departments on the subject of mammals, birds, insects, and cones. There is also the so-called wood library with 350 specimens of wood. Collections contain 460 specimens of mammals and birds, fossils, and antlers. Especially worthy of attention is the collection of bats presented in the separate, specially adapted hall.

The facility organizes frequent museum lessons for youth and adolescents in the specially separated room with the collection of stuffed animals. Geckos and insects are bred there.

The museum is a part of the science and educational team of Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Most of its exhibits come from the period from 1949 to 1950, the times when the facility served only students and academics of the Faculty of Forestry.
