The observation deck on Winna Góra offers one of the most beautiful and extensive panoramas of Przemyśl. From here you can admire both Downtown and the Old Town climbing the slopes, as well as the newest Zasania housing estates scattered over the hills.
In addition to the lowering of the Przemyśl Gate and the hills of the Przemyśl and Dynów Foothills, the Sanocko-Turczańskie Mountains already located in the Eastern Carpathians can be seen. Near the vantage point, a walking trail marked with white and red squares has been marked out enabling you to get to know the most interesting corners of the left bank of the city.
Near the terrace you can see the remains of the main fort XIX "Winna Góra", which is part of the inner ring of the Przemyśl Fortress, and the "Jama" reserve with the position of a rare Carpathian flax. The "Winna Góra" nature reserve protecting the steppe cherry is also nearby.
The name Winna Góra comes from vineyards that have been on its southern slopes for centuries. Today there is a housing estate of the same name: walking along the winding and steep streets you can admire the pre-war villas surrounded by picturesque gardens.
