The main object of the Franciscan monastic complex of Przemysl is the combination of late baroque and classicism with an impressive church. St. Mary Magdalene on the monumental two-story façade with columns. From the 16th century, the relics of the patron of the city, St. Vincent. In a perfectly preserved rococo interior you can admire, among others. wonderful image of Our Lady of Immaculate, richly decorated altars, confessionals, organ prospect and polychrome. One of the frescoes is the town hall that no longer exists. Also unusual are Rococo sculptures, which topped the balustrade leading to the church's stairs.
The Franciscans arrived in Przemysl in the first half of the 13th century. The founders of the monastery complex built in the years 1754-1780 were Bishop Waclaw Sierakowski, the Kiev governor Franciszek Potocki and Sebastian and Wawrzyniec Morscy. The church was designed by Walent Haltman. St. Mary Magdalene was erected on the canvas of the walls of the previous temple, and after the fire of 1846 was rebuilt.
