The Civil Defense Control Shelter is located under the building of Primary School No. 14. It was created in the aftermath of the threat of the Cold War and was until recently a secret object. You can see faithfully reproduced interior furnishings, e.g. a radio and wired communication system, and numerous memorabilia from the PRL period. The sightseeing program was arranged using modern multimedia techniques. Visitors can, for a moment, feel like a shelter crew in the face of danger and evacuation, and see what a city would look like after a nuclear attack. A visit to the shelter is a kind of history lesson given in the form of an exciting adventure.
The shelter built in 1966 is 177.98 sq m. There are technical rooms for work and rest. The facility has its own energy source, hydrophore pump and filter unit. It also has a special emergency exit with an underground tunnel. The shelter is taken care of by the Przemyśl Historical Reconstruction Association X DOK
