The museum mainly collects exhibits related to the eras existing here Mazowiecki Metallurgical Center (II - III centuries BC). The building was the second largest metallurgical center in the "barbaric" Europe.
The main museum exhibition, "Przedświt", tells the story of the Mazovian Metalurgical Center discovered after the Second World War. Thanks to the use of modern technology and multimedia, guests of the museum can move into the times of the Roman Empire and the land of Lugand and Vandals. The tours make films, animations, paintings and numerous reconstructions, including the full uniform of the Roman legionary.
It offers children's corner and museum lessons for groups. Participants can learn about old weaving techniques, iron forging, clay pot making, and many more.
