The Parish Museum in Prukek operates at the parish of Sts. Nicholas the Bishop. It was opened in 1994. The initiator of his creation was the parish priest - Father Kazimierz Trelka. The museum is home to a late nineteenth-century building where the organist was formerly housed.
The exhibition was divided into two parts. One of them presents the history of Pruchnik and its immediate vicinity. A number of extremely valuable objects, formerly owned by villagers, were collected here.
Visitors can see: everyday objects, tools used by local farmers, interior fittings and books and documents. Trivia is a piece of meteorite found in the area of Pruchnik.
The second part of the exhibition is devoted to the Founder of the Congregation of Sts. Michal Archangel - Blessed Bronislaw Markiewicz.
