Krasiczyn Castle

The castle is one of the most beautiful monuments of the Polish renaissance. Currently, the hotel and restaurant are located in the castle and park complex. For the visitors were made available, among others, a castle courtyard, exhibition rooms, a torture chamber in the castle dungeons, a clocktower, and the surrounding park. One of the most valuable architectural elements in the castle is the chapel in the Divine Tower. The tour takes place in a group with a guide.

The Castle of Krasicki family in Krasiczyn was built on the initiative of Stanisław Krasicki at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries. The building has typical elements of Renaissance architecture, such as portals, arcades, and unique wall decorations, so-called sgraffitos. The monument was established on the plan of a quadrangle, on each corner there are towers: Royal, Noble, Divine, and Papal. Each of them corresponds to the main values ​​of Marcin Krasicki: monarchy, nobility, God, and the Church. In Krasicki's Castle, visitors can also see, among others, hunter's chamber in the Noble Tower, the chapel of the Assumption of Mary, as well as the burial crypt in the Divine Tower.
