Otmuchów Castle is an unusual 13th-century fortress with an entrance, located on a hillside of a small town. In the medieval castle in great condition survived hunger rooms, horse stairs and tall tower. Currently, the castle is a hotel where local and foreign guests can enjoy specialties of Polish cuisine.
The history of the castle in Otmuchów goes back to the middle ages, which reminds guests of well-preserved hidden rooms, cross-country fireplace and wide staircase. The real attraction is the two halls of death: one hungry, with the letters etched with nails by the condemned and the hall with the trapdoor. The building was rebuilt in 1585-1596 in the Renaissance style and in the 17th century in the baroque style.
Currently, the castle is a tourist attraction and hotel, located in two lakes: otmuchowski and nyskie. The city is famous for its annual "Summer Flower" event, and the castle itself is home to cut flowers. In addition, the attraction, often visited by tourists remains a tower, which overlooks the whole area.
