The permanent exhibition presents collections in the field of archeology, ethnography and city history. The permanent exhibition deserves the attention of visitors: "The Triangle of Three Emperors, the confluence of the Biała and Czarna Przemsza rivers" - regarding the historical border of the three partitions. The museum also presents numerous temporary exhibitions. The facility was opened to visitors in 2006.
The permanent exhibition of the Museum includes exhibits in the field of archeology, originating from excavations carried out in Mysłowice in the years 2001-2002.
The history department contains an exhibition of photographs of the city from the 20th century, as well as exhibitions related to the Silesian Uprisings and the history of the Mysłowice industry.
In the Museum you can see collections in the field of ethnography. In the museum halls, the interior of the apartment from Upper Silesia from the first half of the 20th century has been reconstructed.
