An unusual Bible Garden has been organized at the Caritas Rehabilitation and Recreation Center in Myczkowce. Visitors can see symbolically depicted and interestingly arranged scenes from the Old and New Testaments in a beautiful setting made of over 100 species of plants. You can see, for example, seven-armed candlestick menorah made of boxwood, a 1:10 scale model of the Jerusalem Temple, and even cross the Red Sea. The tour is accompanied by music. At the entrance there is a souvenir sale point.
Established at the turn of 2009 and 2010, the garden is the second object of this type in Poland. He owes the creation of Fr. Bogdan Janik, director of Caritas from Myczków and dr Zofia Włodarczyk from the University of Agriculture in Krakow. It was opened on the 90th anniversary of the birth of Pope John Paul II. The mission of the garden is to familiarize visitors with the content of the Holy Bible and make them reflect.
Myczkowiecki Caritas also offers a number of other attractions: e.g. Ecumenical Culture Center, Cafe of St. Francis, Minizoo and Eden Riding Center.
