Solina Beach

Situated by Solina Lake, Health Resort Polańczyk is famous for its recreational centers and sanatoriums. Close proximity to the lake attracts not only enthusiasts of water sports but also lovers of sunbathing. The local beach with a bathing space is located at the end of the peninsula, near Voluntary Water Emergency Service. Vast views of the famous dam and inviting local green hills can be admired here. Visitors can also rent water equipment or take a cruise.

The beach in Polańczyk is one of the most popular local tourist attractions. It is important to remember that swimming is permitted only in designated areas because the dam causes often water level fluctuations. Shores of the lake are very steep and the bottom is not safe everywhere.

There are natural mineral waters in Polańczyk. Since 1974, the city has the status of a health resort.
