A ride in the Bieszczady train is an extraordinary adventure that allows you to travel back in time to the beginning of the 20th century, experience the beauty of natural nature and picturesque views of the Cisnian-Wetliński Landscape Park, during a two-hour trip in a wagon traveling at a maximum speed of 35 km / h
The cable car runs on two routes - from Majdan to Balnica and to Przysłup. The return trip takes 2-3 hours. In the summer season, there is one trip to each of these places, with a half-hour stop at the destination. In September and October, the courses are only available on weekends.
The beginning of the cable car's existence dates back to January 22, 1898, and the first route to Cisna was 24,174 km long and was used to transport timber. The track gauge was 760 mm. For over a hundred years, the cable car routes changed until the end of the 20th century, when it was decided to liquidate it. Today, the Bieszczady forest train exists thanks to the enthusiasts of the Bieszczady Forest Railway Foundation in Cisna-Majdan. As an additional attraction, you can order the "attack of the horse bandits of the Gang Krzych".
