The Museum of the Lublin Village is one of the largest heritage park in Poland devoted to the presentation of architecture and lifestyle of the population of the current Lublin voivodeship. The exhibition is divided into seven sections that review the construction industry, small architecture and equipment of each region. The local greenery and landscape favoring walks are also an attraction.
Picturesquely located in the Czechówka river valley, the heritage park is divided into seven areas: Lublin Upland, Roztocze, Powiśle, Podlasie, Nadbuże, the manor and town sector. Some of them are available for exploring from outside during relaxing walks along the arranged rural streets. The sectors show the ethnographic diversity of the Lublin region. The interiors of the shared huts present original equipment, documenting the rites and customs of the local population.The most important part of the heritage park is the Small Town, a faithfully modeled town of the 30s of the twentieth century, with a central market, a hairdresser, post office, cigar shop, a brewery, workshops and other facilities. There is also a historic religious complex here. In other sectors you can see the original mill, XVIIIth century manor from Żyrzyn with a picturesque garden, Greek Catholic church of Tarnoszyn.Less
