Brewing exhibition
Local name: Ekspozycja Browarnicza
One of the permanent exhibitions presented by the Museum of the Leżajsk Region is a multimedia exhibition on brewing. You can see it in the outbuilding of Dwór Starościński. The collected collections and two films allow to learn about the history of world brewing and the process of beer production. Exhibits include, for example, beer mugs and labels. The exhibition also tells about the rich brewing traditions of the Leżajsk region, which is proved by awards won by the local brewery.
The discovery of Tertiary deposits of perfect water contributed to the creation of the Brewery. The proximity of hops and barley in the Lublin region was also of considerable importance. The latest technologies were used in the production of beer, and the highest quality of Leżajsk products resulted in prestigious awards, e.g. Silver and Gold Asem Polish Promotion Corporation Ltd.
The sponsor of the Brewing Exhibition is the Leżajsk Brewery, existing since 1978. The multimedia exhibition was prepared by Ireneusz Wołek.
