Łańcut Storczykarnia consists of an exhibition greenhouse, divided into three climatic zones of the back room and a summer cafe. The exhibition part presents the most effective flowering plants, among which there are both botanical orchids characteristic for the natural environment, as well as modern hybrids bred by man. You can also admire the varieties from the pre-war Potocki collection, and those listed in the nineteenth-century study "Reichenbachia". There are terrestrial, arboreal and rock-grown orchids here.
At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the Potoccy ordered to build a palm house in the park. Orchids were grown in the greenhouse there. Among the outstanding personalities admiring the Orchid House was, among others president Ignacy Mościcki. After World War II, it was taken over by the State Farm. In 1994, the devastated object took care of the Museum. Today Storczykarnia is delightful again.
