Museum of Folk Culture of the Sudety Foothills
Local name: Muzeum Kultury Ludowej Pogórza Sudeckiego
Located on a picturesque hillside Skansen Sudeten Plateau consists of a dozen or so characteristic of the region, antique wooden objects. The museum presents the cottage, outbuildings, chapel. Interior is filled with furnishings and household appliances, which is a faithful reproduction of traditional houses and workshops of the past. Wooden huts impresses with its appearance, preserved old furniture and appliances the farm from past centuries. The museum also has old wooden inn dating from the nineteenth century, moved here in 1985. The highest point of the hill stands a windmill, which offers beautiful views of Snow White and the Giant Mountains. There is also a natural amphitheater that can accommodate up to 2 thousand. the audience, where in summer there are cultural events and picnics. Picnics are served baked potatoes, homemade bread, and other country specialties. Skansen is functioning since 1984.
