Szczeliniec Wielki

The highest (919 m) elevation of the Stołowe Mountains (the Table Mountains) that is situated in the Table Mountains National Park. It belongs to the Crown of Polish Mountains. Together with the landscape reserve and panoramic terraces with the panorama of the Sudetes, it forms a tourist attraction of the region.

The sandstone surface of the elevation is weathered and cracked, thus creating a variety of rock forms, looking like people or animals. There are also many gorges and corridors forming a maze of rocks. The highest point of the elevation, where a viewpoint is, is called Fotel Pradziada (the Great-grandfather Armchair).

Two rocks are of interest here, the so-called wobblers: Cradle of Princess Emilka and the Heart of the Mountain Spirit, which can be moved with little effort, despite their considerable weight. The film "Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" was filmed on Szczeliniec.
