Kościuszko Mound Museum

Wax Sculptures Exhibition is presented in Kościuszko Mound Museum in post-Austrian Fort no.2 "Kościuszko". The exhibition titled "Polish Ways to Freedom" displays sculptures of distinguished Polish people.

The characters are life-size, dressed in costumes from their times. Each figure is placed in the specially arranged background presenting the chosen moment from their lives. Visitors can see Pope John Paul II greeting from the helicopter, Adam Mickiewicz in the Polish Library in Paris, and Jan Matejko in front of the easels. Other figures include, among others, Jan Henryk Dąbrowski, Henryk Sienkiewicz, Faustina Kowalska, and Ignacy Paderewski.

What is more, Fort no.2 consists of exhibitions dedicated to Tadeusz Kościuszko and the fort itself.
