The European Culture Center "Europeum" gives tourists the opportunity to learn about the centuries-old history of European art, providing visitors with over one hundred paintings and sculptures. The most important exhibits include the "Crucifixion" of Paolo Veneziano, "Adoration of the Child" by Lorenzo Lotto, "Sermon of Saint John the Baptist" by Pieter Brueghel the younger and the sixteenth-century "Madonna with Child".
The European Culture Center "Europeum" is not only a museum, but also the only information center in our country about the collection of Western European painting in Poland. It also has an educational function - workshops and educational activities are organized to help interpret the presented works of art. Europeum is also a place where exhibitions, talks, lectures and concerts focused on the subject of broadly understood European culture take place. This branch of the National Museum in Krakow was opened in September 2013.Less
