The miraculous Divine Mercy image painted by Adolf Hyła according to the vision of Faustyna Kowalska is a main reason crowds of pilgrims come to this place.
The body of nun Faustyna rests here since 1966. After the beatification, the remains were put in the side altar under the Divine Mercy image. The marble kneeler with part of the Faustyna's relic was placed in front of the presbytery. The dedication of the church was carried out by Pope John Paul II on 17th August 2002 during his last pilgrimage to Poland.Less
