Bnin is currently part of Kórnik. In the past it was a separate city, and the testimony is the market square preserved to this day. In its center stands the Baroque town hall. After a thorough renovation, it is the seat of the city council and the Regional Souvenirs House, located in the attic.
The town hall in Bnin was built in 1777. Its founder was the owner of Kórnik and Bnin Teofila Szołdrska Potulicka. It is a baroque, multi-story building, covered with a mansard roof. Above it is a square clock tower covered with a polygonal helmet.
The town hall underwent a major renovation at the beginning of the 21st century. The rooms located on the lower floors are occupied by the city authorities. There is, among others, a wedding hall and a library. Part of the attic was adapted to the Chamber of Regional Souvenirs. Between the beams supporting the roof structure are exhibitions devoted to the Greater Poland Uprising, local craft guilds, folk reading rooms and the philosopher August Cieszkowski.
