Podczele is one of the well-known local beaches. It is located approximately 7 km east of the pier in Kołobrzeg. You can reach it from Kołobrzeg via the national road No. 11. The beach is spacious and wide. It is located in the vicinity of the airport, now a civilian airport, known for the famous Soviet MIG disaster. The machine took off from the airport in Bagicz, and crashed, after flying all over Europe, in Belgium.
To the beach from the road, you can get through the Podczele housing estate or choose a more picturesque way, having its origin at a holiday resort. The first section leads through the forest, and the last half a kilometer before the beach is a straight path set on the embankment. On both sides of the road grow trees, the crowns of which form a vault over the heads of walkers. On both sides of the dyke spread salty wetlands. The floodplains extend over more than a kilometer from the airport towards the city and create an amazing landscape and a place where nature lovers can conduct observations.
