The Town Hall in Kołobrzeg looks like a medieval castle, because towers and battlefields are characteristic of the castle castles. The preserved materials perfectly illustrate the beauty of the gothic building, which is the real pearl of Kolobrzeg's architecture.
The town hall was built of red C-shaped bricks. Small turrets decorate the whole building. The central part of the building is enriched with a clock tower, once used by orchestras. It is from this place that the sound of a clock of the chancel, which breaks full hours and quarters, is mined. The tower is decorated with city crests, as well as the image of Adebara's head, who was a Kolobrzeg rebel. Tradition says that it is necessary to touch it to fulfill our dreams.
The town hall during the siege by Napoleonic troops was destroyed. However, the behavior of some elements helped to rebuild the new town hall. The use of residues allowed to preserve the historical value of the new building. The old town hall survived from Gothic vaults and parts of the north-eastern wall with stone columns.
