The International Congress Center in Katowice is the biggest institution of its kind in Poland. The center was opened in 2015. The International Congress Center, located in Katowice, is divided into four sections for different types of events. The largest part, the Multifunctional Hall, is dedicated to the organizers of conferences, congresses and fairs. The auditorium, separated from the previous part, offers the possibility of organizing a separate event for less than 600 people. Ballroom serves banquets, conferences and corporate meetings. The conference team is dedicated to making conferences.
The building of the Katowice congress center was designed by specialists from Jems Architekci. The silhouette of the building is related to the mining traditions, similarly to the place of the building, which is a post-industrial area.
