The exposition presented in the undergrounds of restaurant Dwór Liczyrzepy is a journey to the world of rocks and minerals which represent a composition of the Polish mountains and treasures that can be found there.
The aesthetic glass-cases consists of gemstones of impressive sizes and the most interesting minerals. The stones that can be seen there are diamonds, sapphires, mountain crystals, smoky quartz, amethysts, chrysoprases, fluorites, malachites, and even gold. The collection also has stones from distant regions of the world such as lapis lazuli from Pakistan, quartz from Morocco, jaspers from Madagascar and malachites from Kenya. The major part of the exhibition comes from the museum in Szklarska Poręba which was founded by the Naumowicz family, the member of Walońskie Brotherhood, and destroyed during the fire in 2015. Stones that survived were complemented by borrowed and donated private collections. The collection is temporarily placed in the restaurant's undergrounds until the museum in Szklarska Poręba is rebuilt.Less
