Lower Silesian Weaving Museum
Local name: Muzeum Tkactwa Dolnośląskiego
Municipal organizational unit located in Kamienna Góra. It has the richest collection of flax processing and weaving equipment in the Lower Silesia region such as looms and reels. The permanent exhibitions also include the equipment and objects of everyday life, including simple peasantry, bourgeoisie, and the finest merchants and stone manes.
The museum was founded in 1939, in the premises of the former post office, made available free of charge by the municipality. In 2008, a major overhaul of the facility was completed, including adaptation for people with disabilities. For tourists, the facility organizes workshops of weaving and spinning.
In 2011 the institution changed its name from the Lower Silesian Weaving Museum to the Museum of Weaving in Kamienna Góra.
