The Regional Museum in Iłża is housed in a historic building of a former hospital from the 15th century, serving as a refuge for the poor. St. Spirit since the mid 18th century. It collects regional collections in the field of ethnography, history, archeology and art.

The Museum presents the history of the city and region from the 9th century to the Second World War, including over 600 years of rule by the Bishops of Cracow. Iłża has strong pottery traditions dating back to the 15th century, which together with the history of the local guilds were documented at one of the exhibitions. In addition, the ethnographic section, which depicts folk ceramics, rural crafts and clothing and textiles, is the richest exposition of the museum. The building also collects findings from the Neolithic to the early Middle Ages, such as vessels, tools and ceramics.

The museum organizes excursions both in the region of the city and in the city, guiding the historic ruins of the 15th century Bishops Castle and the observation deck.
