From the town fortifications Grodków survived until today small fragments of the defensive walls and two gates, Ziębicka and Lewinska. It was built in the 14th century. These are square-shaped buildings, with piercing crossings and small guard windows. Topped with a crown consisting of slabs and triangular ends of the toes.
The city walls of Grodków were built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. They were raised from rubble. In the fourteenth century they were fortified with bastions, of which one survived, the Prison and the gates. Both preserved gates were renovated in the nineteenth century and at the beginning of the 21st century.
Ziębicka and Lewinska gates are in the shape of a cuboid. They were decorated with crowns resembling attic. They consist of peaks and shallows, and they add lightness to both defensive structures.
