Summer Stage of the Municipal Theater

The Summer Theater of Gdynia City Theater is the only theater of its kind in Poland - every year in July and August it opens for artists on the Gdynia beach. Spectacles on the coast come from the repertoire of the Municipal Theater. Witold Gombrowicz and attract many lovers of art every year.

The opening of the summer theater scene was the idea of ​​the former director of the Municipal Theater, Julia Verna, who also directed many beach shows. The idea of ​​Verona was put into practice in 1996 and still enjoys unmatched popularity.

Since the scene of the Summer Theater in Gdynia, a lot of spectacles have been exhibited. The scene on the seafront also hosted concert musicians, satirists during cabaret evenings and other artists.
