Sofitel Grand Sopot, better known as Grand Hotel, is a famous 5 star hotel located on the Sopot coast. It was built in the 1920s and today it is a symbol of luxury for the inhabitants of the Tri-City and tourists Sopot tourists.
The Sopot Grand Hotel was built in Art Nouveau / Neo-baroque style. It was put into service in 1927. He was supposed to serve the guests of a nearby casino. Since its inception, many famous people have visited it and have had many important historical events, especially those related to World War II and somewhat more recent history (including the Solidarity movement).
The hotel measures 35 m and has five storeys. There is a casino (the third largest in Poland), a library, gym and spa, restaurants, bars and a separate private beach area.
