The 30 m high lookout tower on the Sopot coast once served as a lighthouse. It was built in the early 20th century, but not from the beginning acted as a lighthouse. Today from its summit you can admire the entire Tri-City and the picturesque Gulf of Gdansk.
The pier near the Sopot pier was built as a boiler chimney. Over time the chimney was turned into a lantern. At present, however, it does not fulfill the conditions to be a lighthouse - its light is too short ("only" 7 nautical miles).
Spiral stairs lead to the top of the tower. After their eyes are over, visitors will see the panorama of Sopot and Gdansk Bay.
