Just before the magnificent Royal Chapel building was installed the Four Quarter Fountain. Divided into four parts of water tones, it captures its beauty and adds charm to this part of Gdansk, especially at dusk.
The launch of the Four Quarter Fountains is an excellent example of how the historic architecture and modern installation can be complementary. Fontana located in front of the Royal Chapel is divided into four parts and thus symbolizes historical quarters: Broad, High, Fisherman and Koga. All four elements are finished with glass plates, each of which is of a different color. Colored glass, water, and light after dark make up an amazing game of color and shade.
The four-quarter fountains are guarded by the bronze lions. The fountain consists of 24 nozzles, computer controlled.
