"Blue Lion" Archaeological Education Centre

"Blue Lion" Archaeological Education Centre is a unique, modern archaeological museum. To be exact, it is one of its branches. It's located in the former, monumental granary "Blue Lamb". Apart from being an exhibition center, it also operates as an educational facility which gives an opportunity to get a sense of Hanseatic street filled with stalls and workshops.

There is no shortage of artifacts and archaeological troves. The center also consists of various exhibitions such as archaeological workplaces with descriptions of the hard work of an archaeologist, and the interactive reconstruction of old inhabitants of the city. The display is complemented by figures of merchants presenting their goods, craftsman making shoes, little girl with a doll, and many others. The unique atmosphere of this place is enriched by scents of cinnamon, cloves, and other spices.
