History Museum - Dukla Palace

Local name: Muzeum Historyczne - Pałac w Dukli

Located in the palace and park complex, the museum is a real treat for enthusiasts of weapons, military, and the region's 19th-century history. The open-air museum presents cannons, howitzers, rocket launchers, and vehicles from World War II. The palace consists of six exhibitions displaying monuments from the 19th and 20th centuries, and military artifacts.

The History Museum - Dukla Palace was established in 1944. It is dedicated to the history of the complex, its owners and guests. One of the most interesting exhibits here is the depiction of Tadeusz Kościuszko. Real jewels of the collection are original, stylish furniture, eastern carpets, and wall decorations. One of the exhibitions presents the beautiful collection of porcelain and glass. The military exposition, on the other hand, largely consists of cold steel and firearms from World War I, and exhibits related to the life of Józef Piłsudski. The outdoor exhibition also presents anti-aircraft guns, field and divisional guns, the T 34-85 tank, and the Katyusha rocket launcher.
