City Museum "Sztygarka"

The "Sztygarka" City Museum in Dąbrowa Górnicza is located in the place of the former seat of the Mining Board. For many years, until 1997, it served as a museum and educational institution of the mining school. The museum contains 7 exhibitions, organized by 4 separate departments: archeology, history, ethnographic and travel as well as nature and technology.

This place is adapted to interest both adult visitors and children. Visitors can buy various types of museum lessons, both in the museum itself and in the field. These are basic lessons and multimedia shows.

The "Sztygarka" museum also includes a training mine, located next to the former coal mine "Paris" and the military and historical park "Reduta", also open to tourists.
