Soplicowo Open-Air Film Museum

Local name: Skansen Filmowy Soplicowo

Soplicowo Open-Air Film Museum is a tourist and entertainment complex. It was made of parts of the scenography used in the screen adaptation of "Pan Tadeusz" directed by Andrzej Wajda. It is situated 100 m from the lake. It's an interesting place for family and business meetings.

Thanks to the efforts of Marek Pinkowski and Paweł Buksalewicz, the objects re-creating Soplicowo were brought to Cichowo after the movie was finished. The complex consists of, among others, quincha, granary, stables, carriage house, and henhouse. The unique atmosphere of the Mickiewicz's village is complemented by the old orchard. Another attraction is an opportunity to see the animals Marek Pinkowski train for a movie.

Soplicowo Open-Air Film Museum also includes guesthouse "Gerwazy", "Dwór Soplicowo" with a hotel and restaurant, and inn "Stajnia" with tasty traditional cuisine. Exhibitions and outdoor events dedicated to the writer - Adam Mickiewicz - and old-Polish traditions are organized here every year.
