The Sielanka Complex was founded at the beginning of the 20th century in the idea of a Garden City. On the area of over 10 ha, low, villa buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens. The design was created by German architect Hermann Joseph Stübben. Currently, banks, private companies and the city hall are located in the neo-classical and neo-Baroque villas.
