Bydgoszcz Zoo

Covering an area of 14 hectares of the Forest Park of Culture and Leisure, the garden is home to about 750 animals. In the centre there is a magnificent pond with an island inhabited by water birds. The new pavillion of the Aquarium Terrarium is also the pride of the facility.

There is a Children's Zoo in the facility where children have direct contact with animals. A rabbit, a goat, a pygmy hog, a sheep, a Shetland pony, and a turtle live there. The attraction is also a modern playground, the Bajkowa Chatka canteen and the Mariposa bar.

Among the permanent inhabitants of the zoo, there are specimens of 38 exotic species and 60 species of native fauna that are strictly protected. In aviaries visitors can see many species of colorful birds, as well as many other animals from around the world.
