Gdańska Street

The main street of the city, formerly a bustling center of commerce and entertainment, was established at the beginning of the 19th century. During the war it was called Adolf Hitler, then Aleja 1 Maja. Gdańsk Street has been called again since 1990. It connects the Old Town with the northern part of the city. In 2015, at Gdańska Street, there were as many as 28 objects entered in the register of monuments.
