Local name: Skansen Sioło Budy

"Sioło Budy" is a charming place located in the heart of the Białowieża Forest, in the town of Budy. Within the complex, you can take advantage of beds in traditional huts, taste hunting cuisine at the Osocznik Tavern, and also visit the 19th-century open-air museum. In addition, concerts and numerous folk handicraft workshops are organized here.

The museum houses original buildings from the first half of the 19th century. They present the last existing chutory frontier farm. You can see a hut from 1836, which has survived in very good condition. Inside it is the only preserved and active wooden chimney in Poland. In addition, a pigsty, barn, coach house, a well with a crane and a hay rake were set up within the museum.

A "Handicraft Gallery" was created at the open-air museum, which presents works of folk art. In addition, there is an exhibition of weaving. "Sioło Budach" organizes many events, thanks to which the culture of the Białowieża Forest is promoted and includes folk music concerts, feasts, outdoor games, as well as sculptural and painting locations.
