Local name: Promenade Westerkade
The street is famous for the Erasmus Bridge - a picturesque structure, 802 m long and 139 m high. There is also a monument to Tsar Peter the Great (1672-1725), who, fascinated by Rotterdam, ordered the construction of the new Russian capital - St. Petersburg - on his model.
