Erasmusbrug

The hanging structure, 802 m long, connects the northern and southern districts of Rotterdam with each other. The bridge was built in 1996 according to the design of Ben van Berkel, it consists of 4 parts, one of which is the 89-meter drawbridge - the longest and heaviest object of this type in Western Europe.
