Windmills at Kinderdijk

The complex of 19 historic windmills is the largest group of this type of well-preserved buildings in the whole of the Netherlands. Most of them were built in the first half of the 18th century. The entire complex, together with reservoirs, locks and outbuildings is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
