Fort south of Spaarndam
Local name: Fort bezuiden Spaarndam
The fort was built in 1882–1903. After World War II, it was used as a military ammunition storage. Currently, the restored fort houses a cafe and an art gallery, open only on selected days. On the walls of the building you can see original paintings by Louis Kortenhorst.
