West Battery
Local name: Westbatterij
The battery was built in 1852 on an oval plan, 19 m wide and 22 m long. It was surrounded by a 8 m wide moat, and it was possible to get inside through a wooden drawbridge. Currently, the fort is being successively restored. It is also a meeting place for local scouts and boy scouts.
