Mary of Jesse Church
Local name: Maria van Jesse Kerk
The neo-Gothic building, which was erected in the years 1875-1882, is the first new Catholic temple that was built in Delft after the Reformation period. The church owes its name to the statue of the Virgin Mary, which has been surrounded by worship since the Middle Ages (it was initially located in the Oude Kerk - Old Church).
