Orthodox Church of St. Peter and Paul

The Orthodox church, built in 1601, owes its present form to the reconstruction in the 18th century. It was designed by the Italian architect Antonio Costa, who before the end of his work was killed by a fragment of a vault. The sumptuous gilded iconostasis is the work of Russian masters, and its decoration was created in Venice.
