Piazza del Plebiscito

The square is the political and administrative center of Viterbo. Until the first half of the 13th century, there were no buildings here, only a large green lawn. The square quickly changed its face, the green of the meadows gave way to tall and elegant buildings. In addition, in 1470 the Palazzo dei Priori was built, currently serving as the town hall.
