The Scaliger Tombs are a group of five Gothic tombstones of the Scaliger family, who ruled Verona from the 13th to the end of the 14th century. The tombs are located in the courtyard in front of the Church of Santa Maria Antica. According to the French historian Georges Duby, they are one of the most outstanding examples of Gothic art.
