Juliet's house is one of Verona's main attractions and the most famous balcony in the world. Every day crowds of tourists visit this place. Couples of all ages swear eternal allegiance here in memory of Shakespeare's drama "Romeo and Juliet". Although Shakespeare's characters never existed, the city bought the house from the Capello family in 1905. Due to the similarity of names, the house was announced the family residence of the Capuletich family.
